Max9814 Microphone Amplifier Module

The MAX9814 microphone amplifier module is an affordable high-performance microphone amplifier with Automatic Gain Control (AGC) and low noise. The device has a low-noise front-end amplifier a variable gain amplifier (VGA) an output amplifier a microphone bias voltage generator and an AGC control circuit. Additionally the manufacturer allowed the user to control the gain gain by shorting the GAIN pin. The output signal voltage does not exceed 2V so we can easily connect the module to the analog-to-digital converter in our Arduino or Raspberry Pi. The device is perfect for projects where for example we need to measure the sound level in the environment.
